We extend our partnership with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation

Climate change, plastic waste, and environmental pollution – to solve these problems, big ideas are needed. That is why we are extending our partnership with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation until 2025.

The Ellen MacArthur Foundation is an international non-profit organization. It was founded in 2010 with the goal of speeding up the transition to a circular economy. It is essential to establish a circular economy in order to tackle some of the biggest challenges of our time, such as climate change, loss of biodiversity, waste, and environmental pollution. For this purpose, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation uses its extensive network of decision-makers from the public and private sectors, as well as from the world of science, to develop the capacities needed for solutions in the circular economy.

Greiner has been a partner of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation since back in 2016, and with the extension of the contract we are now on board for another three years – with all the associated rights and responsibilities. Together, we want to continue developing and promoting the establishment of a circular economy over the coming years. By 2025, our plastic packaging is to be enhanced in such a way that it can be reused, recycled, or composted, and by 2030 we aim to be an entirely circular company. This will require cooperation and corporate responsibility!
