The Sustainability Board is the central decision-making body when it comes to corporate social responsibility at Greiner. It guarantees that new projects are started and that our sustainability goals are being achieved in all four divisions. In addition to Greiner CEO Axel Kühner, representatives of senior management from all four divisions, experts on our major topics, and Greiner’s sustainability team members are part of this committee.
The Board meets three to four times a year to decide on sustainability projects and to make trend-setting decisions. This was also the case at the latest meeting: current projects were presented and future measures were decided. How can we increase our share of green electricity worldwide and reduce our CO2 emissions? What will the new Greiner Environmental Policy look like? And what concrete measures can we take to increase the occupational safety of all employees at Greiner? It is not surprising that these topics lead to lively discussions. After all, it’s about our future.
